The owners of Mein Heim Estate, Hennie and Christine Spangenberg, purchased the farm at the end of 2012, fulfilling a dream of owning a small part of the Northern Cape. The farm is situated only 15km from the edge of Kimberley. It is near enough to pop into the city for a meal, but far enough to get away from the noise and bustle of city life.
We are truly blessed to be able to offer our guests a tranquil setting. We have 4 self catering units on the premises. Our rooms are all air-conditioned and we aim to provide our guests with affordable and comfortable accommodation. We are striving to become , and have our own self sustained power plant to generate electricity and pump water.

The farm was previously a warmblood stud farm, and it was easy to transform into a stable yard to house our own horses, as well as providing livery to others. Our riders are happy here, and have enough space to go on outrides in the veld and work their horses in well maintained arenas.

We have some game in the veld. We have springbuck (also copper, black and white springbuck), Gemsbuck, and then smaller buck like Steenbokkies and Duikers. We also have a few colonies of Bat-eared
Foxes and Aardvarke.

The farm is now a working farm, with sheep, cattle, and chickens. Maybe there will be an opportunity to feed a calf or hanslam, or collect eggs, depending on timing. Please enquire.
